OVERVIEW

The GPS Football Premiership began in 1991.
 
1991
 GPS Soccer commenced with eight schools, inaugural year of competition, Brisbane Boys' College wins their first Premiership
1992 Brisbane State High School joins the competition, nine school competition.  Brisbane Grammar School wins their first Premiership
1995
St Joseph’s Nudgee College wins their first Premiership
1996
Ipswich Grammar School wins their first Premiership
2005
Brisbane State High School wins their first Premiership
2010 GPS competition changed name from Soccer to Football
2011 Football/ Rugby scheduled to different terms to be held
2012 The Southport School wins their first Premiership
2014 Competition extended from Year 8 to commence from Year 5-12
2015 Toowoomba Grammar School wins their first Premiership
