David Pocock, Anglican Church Grammar School 2002-2005

David Pocock is a renowned Rugby Union Player. He is vice captain of the Brumbies and represents the Wallabies in International Competition.

Pocock's Rugby Union Career includes: Australian Schoolboys (2005) Australian U20s captain in 2008 at the Junior World Championships Wallabies debut in 2008 v NZ In Hong Kong capped 55 times for Australia captain of the Wallabies in 2012 John Eales Medal in 2010 played in the Rugby World Cups in 2011 and 2015 IRB Player of the Year nominations in 2010 and 2011 David Co-founded EightyTwenty Vision in 2008, an organisation that partnered with a rural Zimbabwean community development organisation working in Nkayi, Zimbabwe; the focus areas were maternal health and food & water security He was named Western Australia’s ‘Young Australian of the Year' in 2012 David is an ambassador for conservation organisation Wild Ark, whose mission is to secure and protect areas with high biodiversity to conserve wildlife,while creating research and experience opportunities for people to reconnect with nature and to become inspired to protect it
